With over 30 years of coaching experience across the collegiate and high school levels, Kathy Walker is a distinguished leader in the sport. Currently the Head Coach at West Linn High School, her 12th season was highlighted by being named the 2024 Three Rivers League Coach of the Year and the 6A State Coach of the Year. Her extensive resume includes seven years as the Head Coach at Lewis & Clark College, along with coaching tenures at Barlow High School and Evergreen High School. As an athlete, Kathy was a standout dual-sport competitor at Lewis & Clark College, winning four consecutive conference championships and reaching the National Tournament twice, leading to her induction into the Hall of Fame in 2000. She remains deeply passionate about advancing players through rigorous technical training and tactical expertise.

This is Taylor's 8th year coaching at West Linn High School. After beginning her coaching career with one season as the JV2 coach in 2019, Taylor transitioned into the Varsity Assistant role. She also brings 7 years of coaching experience at Portland Volleyball Club, the same club where she played for 4 years. Before her coaching career, Taylor was a 4-year varsity middle blocker at Canby High School, earning 2nd Team All-League and Honorable Mention honors. After high school she continued her playing experience on the club volleyball team at Boise State University. Taylor places a strong emphasis on mastering fundamental skills, building a supportive team culture, and instilling high standards of accountability. She is excited for another incredible season with the Lions!
